The Killing of John Mieremet in Pattaya; Nov. 2 - 2005*

One of the two Turkish/Dutch nephews who are now in Dutch jail because they are suspected to have killed someone** else spent 42 hours in Thailand.

A certain Ali N. who was 21 years of age at the time, arrived in Bangkok just before the murder and left Thailand 42 hours after his arrival, back to Holland. The Prosecutor now claims he is the murderer of John Mieremet, next to the murder of Endstra (below)

2 months before this 'visit' Ali N. spent an even shorter period in Thailand...24 hours. He claims he visited Thailand because he liked a girl he chatted with...

Everything is connected with a so called 'Trial of the Century' in Holland against another Mafiaboss (and former Freddie Heineken kidnapper), Willem Holleeder who's on trial now. The prosecutor claims that Holleeder may have been (one of) the man/men who ordered the killing on John Mieremet.

Both were befriended before and both were connected/befriended with the murdered Endstra, see below.

** a wealthy Dutch real estate tycoon, Willem Endstra, murdered in May 2004 who was allegedly the 'banker of the underworld' and suspected of money laundering for the underworld. Endstra was worth an estimated € 350 Million ($ 515 Million/GBP 251 Million) in the year he was killed.
