Companies like Transpo, Four Winds and Crown (and several others) will move you from anywhere to anywhere, also within Thailand. But they are not cheap, and it depends on the volume and complexity of your move. Do you pack stuff yourself, or do they? Do they unpack on the receiving end, or do you? Do they crate up valuable items like paintings, display cases, etc., or not?

For a move that is easily done with a single truck, it is not a big deal. You want to move across water, I don't know if there is a car (truck) ferry or not between Phangan and Phuket, this will influence the cost of the move, since if not, you need separate boat transport.

The dog I have no idea about, perhaps take it with you as you also have to move, one way or another. And doggy will not like to be wrapped up in plastic and old newspapers, and crated... Since this is a local move, I do not think rabies or other quaranteen issues should arise, but check to be sure.

If you have a modest amount of stuff to move, try to ask around locally. For international moves I used Transpo (and another I have forgotten the name of), but for an inter-Pattaya move (sans chien), I ended up using the crew that painted up my new abode. Price from Transpo/Four Winds: ±20-25,000 Baht (7 years ago). Price for local painters with truck: 1,600 Baht. Not one single piece missing or damaged, and each glass and plate packed separately as the big name companies do.

I should post this under the positive thread I guess...

Special Jingthing edit and disclaimer:

I am posting merely from the goodness of my heart, and I am spending time I could use on something better for no reward other than boosting my ego (which incidentally is not such a bad idea), and perhaps being of some help. I do not think I have all the answers, but hope I can help in a small way. Okay?
