There some fields next to our rice paddies thats for sale. Maybe I should buy them and convert them to rice paddies also. That way once a year I can burn those off also to create an even bigger carbon footprint.

Yes, but before burning off the rice fields, remember that you have already contributed a great deal of methane to the air, if you grow your rice correctly!
