z21rhd
Could some light be thrown on page 2 of a 5 year Thai Passort which provides for an "EXTENSION OF VALIDITY" . Period :- How Long ? Months ? Years?? Done at : where?? How ? Forms ?? The Thailand Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that all you need to provide is 1 photo Thai ID Card and the valid passport ( in this case the passport still has 4 months to run) Many countries require a minimum of 6 months validity on arrival. Info appreciated. Richard
lopburi3
They will fill in the information (5 years later than current expiration date), sign and stamp. Passport is now valid until new date on that page - if any inspector seems confused you flip page for him. In Bangkok they can do at MFA on Chiang Watanna Road or at other passport offices, am sure any Embassy can do and believe there is mail service from post office here in Thailand. Will cost about 1,000 baht
