Quick Help Reading A Website Please

Featured Replies

hi there

I just bought an LG electrical item and as I was getting it out a glass item fell and broke. It was not taped in.

I have been to their site at

http://th.lge.com/

then: contact us

then down to: Go to Contacts in the Support Menu : Contacts

and click that

Although I read a little Thai I would appreciate help for the best button on the page to press....I would prefer not to just ask for a spare part to be sent it is slightly in the nature of "will you replace it free as it was not taped in please" so whatever buttons appropriate.

Thankyou

ps:If they reply in terrible English I might be back for a translation of my email !!

No answer yet? Sorry, I am off in a few minutes, too. Try this URL:http://th.lgservice.com/index_b2c.jsp . Then type in your product.

The Thai things on the contact panel (the contact link you clicked) are:

- not so frequently asked questions (khamtham thi phob noi)

- service

- international branches

- overview of international branches

Hope that helps

They use a type of template for product related queries. The template headlines and menus are in Thai, translated below.

Wow you d'man Meadish.

Actually I got the gobbledegook instead of Thai on the forms which made the dropdown boxes illegible, so I took Sutnyod's link and got the English version.

Filled out the form twice, sent it off both times, and guess what happened. Yes unknown error and no send.

BTW I forgot.......how do I avoid all that gobbledegook and get it in Thai. I looked in my prefs (Mac OSX) and Thai unicode is ticked.....but I'm ticked off.

Thanx you really did your best!

Hi John,

I got the same jibberish at first.

'Mac' is a raincoat to this Swede, so I am not sure, but for what it's worth:

In the menus of the Mozilla Firefox browser on my Windows XP machine, I picked View / Character Encoding (Thai-ISO-8859-11). As you can see from the screenshots, the Thai is still quite difficult to read, but at least it IS Thai.

Well Meadish I went to view in Mac Safari>>>>>>text encoding>>>>>>tried Thai/windows which didn't work, then tried Unicode which I seem to remember from the distant past.....and guess what......yes gobbledegook 1 turned to gobbledegook 2.

John,

Do you have the latest version of Safari? I used to have the same problem but once i upgraded it was ok. There were still a few pages that would not display properly but most were ok. Since i upgraded to leopard i have not had any encoding issues.
