Probably wouldn't have tipped if the usual collection of 5 or so beer swilling cigarette smoking guys had been sitting on top picking their toes and noses.

Oops ... sorry, don't have my camera strapped to my eye ... You only need to go over the hill from Patong to Kathu each day and I guarantee you will witness some amazing sights.

Gosh. Sort of harsh there. .I can/t think of too many folks that walk around with a camera at the ready. I only had a real look around in Rawai 3 days ago despite being around for over a year. My friends took me out to se the sunset, sight see and generally scare the crap out of me while they tore along on motorbikes. First time I have taken pics since I have been here. I can post those, but basically it's me and the guys going down the cliffs, or them praying at the shrine, or of my friend getting a chicken leg shoved in his face at lunch. There's a nice one of m friend looking like a Thai thug. Or maybe he was just trying to deal with the humiliation of driving round with a fat white guy on the back of his bike.

I never walk around with the camera at the ready. But I do have it in my car just in case I need it for my business. So I thought it might be a good topic for this forum as it seems to lack pics. I never thought it would bring in people with such bad replies. This is only my third post and I dont think I will bother with anymore. I will leave it to the people with crap replies. Have a nice new year

Hang in there. You'll get lots of crap replies from either (1) cynical bitter old men that have no lives that don't live here; and (2) cynical bitter old men who live here but have no money to enjoy life here.

Fortunately, that's only about 75% of the posts on the Thai Visa Phuket forum :-)

I am lazy, so I dont take lots of pictures.

But yes, this kind of funny sights is all around. I was waiting to turn out to a road when I saw this little pick up, its front wheels almost in the air, crossing my path. I stared in wonder at how the little pick up has this big round kinda pot/pail with lid sloshing water and surprisingly still moving along on its almost deflated 2 back wheels.

Makes you really understand why 4 wheel drive pick ups are popular here.

In California, you see such pick-ups, sup up prettily and is more of a status/lifestyle symbol.
