USA passport holder here. Hi I can confirm that you do not need the visa before you board the bus as you will obtain the visa at the border. The timetable for the bus is: Departure from Ubon Ratchathani, North Bus Station 7:00am - 9:30am - 12:30pm - 15:00pm (Arrival in Pakse in about two hours) Departure from Pakse, Km 2 Bus station 7:30am - 8:30am - 15:30am - 16:30 (Arrival in Ubon in about two hours) Cost is about 220 baht each way Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
