ARNIE
Just asking if any body has gone down this route and had any success and if so how much funds would you need in her own account to allow a visa application to go through? Also can a visa be obtained this way individually, have looked at the pages but never come any advice for this or success rate anywhere. many thanks. the scouser
I presume from your IP number that this is a visa for the U.K? There is no reason why an individual can't apply for a visa in their own right without sponsorship. They will still need to meet the requirements of the Immigration Rules; i.e. maintenance, accommodation, and satisfy the visa officer that they intend to leave the UK at the end of the trip. There is no fixed amount which is needed in the bank in order to visit the U.K. Instead the visa officer will assess the circumstances as a whole; i.e. what job does the applicant have, when do they have to return to work, why do they want to go to the U.K. etc. Scouse.
