moo9 Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 From the Nation Government agencies and entertainment venues asked to suspend activities for 15 days The Cabinet has requested cooperation of government agencies and entertainment venues to suspend merry making activities for 15 days to mourn for HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana. PM's Office Minister Khunying Dhipavadee Meksawan instructed state-run television stations; Channel 11 and TITV, to air programmes in honour of the princess. The government has formed a national committee in charge of the funeral arrangements, led by the prime minister. Cabinet members will observe the black dress code for 100 days, she said, adding the Cabinet also sought cooperation from the public to wear black dress for 15 days. What will it mean? Request entertainment venues to suspend merry making activities? Just wondering... My condolences go with the Royal family and Thai people for sure.
