ethan1 Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Just wonderign if anyone has nay advice to visa's and finding work as a teacher once I have my TESOL certificate. I dont have a degree.
mbkudu Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 (edited) Apply for a non-immigrant ED visa and then earn a degree. That's what I've done. Without a degree, the future is grim. Part-time work at the same time can be found easily. Edited January 4, 2008 by mbkudu
Ijustwannateach Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Um, get a job? There are lots of job ads over on Ajarn. We're really not advising trying to find work in Thailand these days, especially if you don't have a degree, but that doesn't mean you can't do it, even legally. Good luck.
ethan1 Posted January 4, 2008 Author Posted January 4, 2008 May I ask how you earned your degree?? Was it in Thailand?? If so that is what I first planned to do but was told it was practically impossible?? I would love to do a psychology degree!! Any advice??
Ijustwannateach Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 There is an entire pinned thread at the top of this forum called "Continuing Education in Thailand." Thread closed. "S"
