Anyone Missing His Dog?

shortly after the fireworks on nye, a dog appeared outside my gate and wanted to get into my car and gate. he refused to leave, also the next days did not go away from around my house.

the dog is male, looks fine and is neutered with almost completely faded tattoos in the ears. about 1-2 yrs old.

apart from a few flea he seems to have been well taken care of and also behaves as he has had a home.

he is well sized, black with brown markings.

since then he is living wiht my pack and integrated himself very well, but i still have some hope that someone is missing him?

and, when crackers or 'bangs' go off outside he's very scared and wants to jump on my lap...

OH nooo.....our dog too took off after the new years booms. She never leaves our garden, except on the beach. Our neighbour said to me that often dogs leave and are too scared to ever return (apparently it happens in her village a lot but not great words of encouragement!!!) We have looked everywhere.....sadly, this isn't her. Hopes dashed.

Have you checked the "I stole a dog today" string?

yep, i know the dog there looks very similar to 'piimai' but it's not him. also the op is not from samui as far as i know. few days ago i saw a dog not far from my house who looked exactly like piimai. i stopped as i thought he must have jumped over my wall and run away, but of course wasn't him. so there are many many similar looking...

no one claimed him and so he will stay here i guess. he has put on some weight and feels at home here, very playful and active with the other dogs here, lovely dog he is.

if the former owner shows up one day, of course i would give him back. or anyone else who would like to give him a good home.

sounds like you have already named him so he is yours :o
