Swearing In Thai

Featured Replies

My wife sometimes hums (or worse yet) sings to herself a certain song from the South Park movie, which a friend sent her as a ring tone.

Because she's singing a song, she doesn't believe me when I claim that it's "ไม่สุภาพ" so I'm looking for a translation. Just the first verse will do. Unfortunately my Thai is too hi-so to know how to translate it :o

Can anyone help?

the controversial lyrics

It's a funny song in English because of its indiscriminate use of rude swear words, but it wouldn't work quite as well in Thai so I'd rather not see it on this board since it could be viewed as rather offensive.

By the way, your link doesn't work either, but I can see where it is supposed to lead from the URL indication when hovering over it, and know the song from having seen the movie.

PM with approximate translation sent. :o

thanks for the PM. If nothing else, it will hopefully stop my wife singing it in public :o

One can but hope... I do feel your pain. :o

LOL... glad I didn't have to translate THAT one!

However, I wonder about one thing: How does your wife manage to sing the song and not know it's rude, when about 80% of the song is filled with the f word???

she mostly mispronounces it.

"ucka ucka face ucka ucka"

:o

No disrespect intended, just for some reason I'm thinking of a Popeye-like chuckle.
