January 11, 200818 yr I am looking for a fairly simple, somewhat quiet (haha) apartment in Patong. I would like a one or two bedroom apartment with a bathroom. I looked at Phuket Gazette for a place to stay, but didn't find much of anything. I want something a little less..expensive.... I specifically would like to stay around Phisit Koranee Rd, Nanai Rd, or Sai Nam Yen Rd. Due to certain circumstance, I have to stay in Patong, otherwise I would stay in Phuket Town. So if anyone could recommend me an apartment around that area, it would be great! Oh, and I am going during the low season, and will be staying there from June until September.
January 11, 200818 yr Hi Isabelle It depends on whether you want LT or ST. A starting point would be to Google for rentals in Phuket. I have thrown a couple down here as starting points for you: http://phuketislandrealestate.com http://www.phuketonerealestate.com http://www.patong-beach-real-estate.com http://www.siamrealestate.com http://www.amivac.com http://www.houseinphuket.com A common suggestion also is to 'arrive' and then have a hunt around. Not my cup of tea (and I've had a go at it and wouldn't do it again), but others who prefer this approach will doubtless provide some pointers. Good luck - Ping Edited January 11, 200818 yr by Ping
January 11, 200818 yr http://www.amivac.com just out of curiosity, why did u post a website that only has 3 properties in Phuket, none of which are apartments, and only 10 properties in the whole of Thailand? not having a go, just thought it a bit odd. plus i'm bored.
January 11, 200818 yr Not having a go at me, but also not providing any help to the OP. Never mind, I've got a fairly thick skin. Yeah, I didn't check them, just threw down a few I quickly grabbed from my favourites folder. A few of them I know have a reasonable selection, and no doubt Isabelle can also do some Googling. (Must have been something in the past that I was interested in myself on the 3 properties one.) I look forward to reading your helpful suggestions...
January 11, 200818 yr if you are arriving in the low season then best bet would be to arrive and look aorund. not everyones cup of tea but that way you get to see a larger choice of properties and know exactly what you are getting. Surfing the net will certainly help but there are probably more available privately than listed on the sites.
