Cable Internet ( Ksc Or Ture ? )

Featured Replies

I live in Bangkok & consider to apply "Cable Internet". At first, I considered to use ADSL, but my telephone line is TOT & the line quality is not so good. Fortunately now I have UBC cable TV in my room.

I have tried to get any kinds of "Cable Internet Service" information. Then I found 3 companies' services.

-True

-KSC

-Internet Thailand (I-Net)

Does anyone know which service the best ?

Please let me know the situation of those services.

True : Unknown details of the service with ISP ( Cable Internet fee is good enough)

I believe I need to pay more for ISP, but I don't know how much.

1024/128 Kbps : 1,550Baht/Month

512/128 Kbps : 1,100Baht/Month

KSC : The price includes everything ( ISP service also )

1024/128 Kbps : 6,900Baht/Month

512/128 Kbps : 3,900Baht/Month

I-Net : It's too expensive !

1024/128 Kbps : 11,745Baht/Month

512/128 Kbps : 7,343Baht/Month

Thanks,

Does anybody give me your suggestion ?

I guess UBC catv internet is better service then other ADSL.

True DSL is the best choice at the moment, Cable modem costs much more and is not flat rate.

had the same experience in order to get a decent net connection

BY FAR NOT ALL OF BKK metroplitan area can get ADSL or CABLE INTERNET

# had a visit today to true technical support as well as KSC and both tell me due to problems to transmission tey all will shut the cable internet opion with the end of the year

even if you live in middle of downtown and have a full telephone line you cant get DSL.

SHAME, SHAME

SO THE ONLY OPION SEEMS LEFT IS LOXINFO ip star

2 way sat system

STILL CHEAPER then in europe but expencive for BKK
