I need to send the application to the autoclub but I need to send a check with it. where can i get a check here that will be accepted in the US that i can put in with the application? something like a money order, cashiers check etc in dollars

Use a Money Order which is nothing else than a "prepaid" Check. Most of the Bank, if not all, with international Service will proceed that Checks. All you need is the exact Address of the Bearer. It's a very easy task. But keep in mind that some Banks "like" to see a document why to pay for what.
