Hi, my GF (french )needs a Residency Certificate from the Immigration Bureau, I'm in Bangkok.

Does she have to go to the place in Sathorn ?

She doesn't want to go to the french embassy, as these guys are <deleted>.

What does she need to bring ?

She has a non imm visa.

Suan Phli, off South Sathorn Road is Immigration in Bangkok. Believe she should be doing 90 day address reporting if a resident (on extension of stay) and asking Immigration to certify that.

ok thanks... one more thing: She needs a residency letter for our house in Koh Samui. Is it ok to go to the imm. office in Bangkok ? We can't do otherwise, cause we need that letter right now...

I seriously doubt you will obtain any such letter unless she is making 90 day address reports that are on file at Bangkok. You can try calling 1111 and ask for Immigration officer and ask them.

dam_n... it was so easy for me to obtain that letter at the Australian ambassy in Bkk... I can't beleive the french ask for a birth certificate, and an endless list of paperwork to get that letter

What is the cost of the residency certificate from the Bangkok Immigration Office?

Free of charge. Usually not available from immigration if you are not on an extension of stay and have already made at least one 90-day address report at that office.
