Sms From Farangland To Thailand

Featured Replies

I've been searching around for a way to send free or cheap SMS messages from the web to someone's mobile in Thailand and every thread or website I run across seems to be broken or no longer available (including the ThaiVisa SMS service). I don't need to do any hardcore SMS'ing but I do need to get in touch with a friend who never seems to check their email account (or maybe I'm being ignored because I need a favor - haha). I would do it from my mobile but it's a work phone and whenever I'm in Thailand my friend seems to blast out 5 or 6 random messages a day (to my DTAC pre-paid) which I'm pretty sure my employer might have a problem with if he had to start footing the bill. :-)

Anybody got a service that's still up and running and won't cost an arm and a leg to use?

www.voipcheap.com It's free sms, I use it in Thailand and the UK. Goodluck. :o

I use www.ipipi.com

I use Skype for to send SMS and it works very well, not free but more cheap than AIS!
