happylarry
My son (all 6ft4 of him) came to Thailand with the idea of becoming a diving instructor and working over here. With the future in mind he invested in a complete set of equipment and bought the best he could find. Anyway he attained his dive master qualification before he decided he didnt like diving everyday, and now he is back in the UK. Consequently I am left here with all his gear and the instructions to "sell it please Dad". So Can anyone tell me where I have the best chance of selling this stuff. Two suits one XL one XXL Fins weight belt titanium knife dive computer all the breathing regulaters etc etc etc Appreciate any tips please. Be happy....Larry

smartecosse
ebay or get it posted on one of the boards at a "sausage factory" dice cebtre on Samui / Tao that has a hiogh volume of internships should be relatively easy that way you will need to know the make and model of the stuff not just the fact that its a regulator or a xxl same as saying youve got a ford for sale, might be a cossie or a escort van good luck

JohnC
Your best bet would be the dive shops that could use the equipment for rental, unfortunatley second hand gear only fetches around one third of the original price, I don't know your area but here in Pattaya many of the big stores (Carrfour etc) have for sale notice boards, in addition we have a shop called cash convertors where you can take things and they buy them , its a Thai chain so there might be one near you in Buriram. Finally do a google search for dive clubs in both areas and find out if they have chat rooms or message boards and post your details there.
