Good evening all, I am Australian male over 50 years old. I am not married in Thailand

In 2006 I was granted a extension to my Non Imm O visa on the strength of 800,000 baht in the bank.

In 2007 I was granted another extension on the strength of a letter from the Australian Dept. of Veterans Affairs stating I was in receipt of a pension in excess of the required amount. I also had a Statuary declaration witnessed by the Aust Embassy and both documents were stamped by the Australian Embassy. I also had a letter and bank books from the Bangkok bank stating balances totaling approx 300,000.

A few weeks ago I went to Nong Khai to ask them if my new letter from the Australian government showing my pension amounts (in excess of the 65,000 a month requirement) but issued in September 2007 would be acceptable when verified and stamped by the Australian Embassy.

They stated I had to show deposits coming from overseas for every month of the last year.

My visa is due 09 March 2008 and I will be transferring in 300,000 odd Baht from Hong kong and depositing 200,000 baht from travellers cheques in the next week or so.

I have to go to BKK to have my income letter stamped so will I be able to apply for my next extension at BKK Immigration office and will I have a chance of succeeding?. The last 2 extensions were from Nong Khai immigration.

Thanks

John
