Hi,

I arrived Thailand with a one way ticket from Europe at the end of Jan, entered with a 30-day stamp. In Europe, to let me board the plane, they wanted to see a ticket out of Thailand, so I booked a flight to Rangoon with AirAsia.

I still have two 30-days stamps available, but I'd like to get a 2 months tourist visa. I have 3 more 30-days stamps on my passport, another tourist thai visa and a lot of other visas from different countries, don't know if this would make a differece. I'm travelling on an Italian passport.

I found these recent posts on the forum about obtaining tourist visas in Burma:

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?sh...&hl=rangoon

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?sh...&hl=rangoon

but I would like more up to date information:

Has anybody been there recently and applied for a tourist visa? Is it at all possible to get one or should I enter Thailand again with a 30-day stamp and go get my visa to Laos? If somebody applied in Rangoon, what papers do they ask for? Do they need a ticket out of Thailand again?

Thanks.
