The Prachasamosorn Rd is the road to Kalasin. The consulate is about 3 km from the intersection of the RIng Road around Khon Kaen and Prachasamosorn Rd. It is n the right hand side. Usually there is a by Lao flag flying from the top of the building. 50 meters past the consulate, there is a bij Jep petrol pump on your right side.

Opening hours: 09.00 to 12.00 and 14.00 tot 16.00

You will need one passport picture. You fill in one form.

The fee varies between 800 and 1.600 THB. You bring at day one and pick up at day two. Express service is 200 THB extra. I got my visa in 7 minutes. I never had to wait more than 15 minutes. Staff is helpful, some speak very good english.
