Nokia Service Center Or Shop In Bkk

Featured Replies

I would like to ask for the location of any Nokia Service Center or Nokia Shop (not a retailer but an official Nokia shop) close to or accessible from the Victory Monument.

I have to get there to have my NEW phone checked. It's a 6500 slide. I find it a little odd that the slider is a bit wider than the main body of the phone. The slider is slightly off on the tight side and not as much on the other. The camera also shows verical lines when I am capturing videos.

I need to get there within this week because the shop that sold me the phone would't take it back.

Thanks.

If you take a look at a "User's Guide" that came with the phone, you'll find a list of Nokia Care Centers. I've been to the Central Rama III on the 6 fl.

I only know one Nokia "Care Center" at Esplanade, a shopping center, near the China Embassy at the Thailand Cultural Center. It's next to the Nokia shop.

They meant to provide care service, however, I just submitted a complaint. They took 200 baht before we approach their counter. 2-3 days after they took in my phone and my application, they said the monitor was not Nokia's part and the problem was with the board and wasn't worth fixing. (It's better to get a new phone, she said.) I of course wasn't happy with their reply and the reluctance.

I took the phone to an open booth around the cornor near my place. The kid opened my phone, tested the circuit, and then took his soldering took, touched here and there (resoldering) and the problem was fixed. 150 baht.

One side is the beautiful girls, the glamous care center in a modern shopping mall, the well-organized system and procedures, the other is a temporary booth laying out in a traditional Thai street market, surrounded by endless traffic, dust and heat. The former refused to try (or they tried to sell another new phone), and the latter did it without hesitation. The former took 200 baht and did little, and latter 150 baht and took care of the problem. Sometimes we just can't place all the hope on the good-looking, you know.

Victoria Monument ... I would say Nokia Care in MBK (2nd floor) is the place to go. My N73 went belly up and they fixed it within 2 hours for free (incl. software update).
