jitenshaman Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 I have a passport full of tourist visas and one double entry non B...(2.5 years worth)....I am about to go to Aranya Prathet and want to come back in on a 30 day entry (which would be my first)..I have been hearing that Aranya Prathet is no longer letting people in without an onward air ticket. Can anyone validate this, or is it possible to buy a "return" bus ticket to Phnom Penh that will satisfy the requirement or will they just let you in?
colino Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 (edited) i was there 2 weeks ago and at the thai desk they have big signs saying that an onward proof of travel is needed, ( air ticket or conformation of booking), i have heard that company's that do visa runs charge 200 baht for a bus ticket to get around the problem,, i have a multi o so was ok but the woman officer did make me write my address ( including zip code ,that was a first for me ) out in full on the white slip Edited February 22, 2008 by colino
