Sinsot: Paid If Wife's Parents Are Deceased?

Featured Replies

I've been reading over the sinsot debate and expectations, but what about those (like myself, though already married having never paid sinsot as my wife's parents are deceased) whos parents are dead?

Do you pay the sinsot to the remaining family members? They didn't raise my wife so why should they reap the benefit of sinsot? After all, the sinsot is intended, in part, to show gratitude to the parents for raising such a fine young woman and repay them for their time and effort to offer a wonderful woman to marry.

Anyone want to field this one??

Probably not, since it's far to logical and leaves little room for discussion.

Although you never know here on TV

No, absolutely not. But if makes anyone feel happier........

When the forum's a bit quiet, just start off a few 'sin sot' threads and some "I know what you're gonna think but I met this girl in Pattaya" threads and off we go again on the never-ending roundabout. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Thanks for helping things stay the same. :o
