February 29, 200818 yr When using Skype or MSN for webcam video chat, my sound is difficult to detect. The problem IS at my end as sound checks produce very quiet results. I know nowt about pc mics, but ALL three I have are as bad as each other. One on the webcam, one on the headphone set and one stand alone. What do I need to be looking for with regards to size, spec and cost? Cheers

If you click on the Advanced button at the bottom of the mic channel there's a gain boost check box if you need more gain.
