I have been selling items manufactured here in Thailand in my home country and the money for these goods has been paid into my home country bank account. I always pay cash to the Thai company that manufactures the products and there are no invoices or receipts raised. I have now found that what started as one package per week has developed into a package per day and I have had enquiries from another country which could mean that I am going to be "exporting" several packages per day. I was just wondering what the rules in Thailand are regarding what I am doing, am I "working" by sending packages from Thailand and will the Thai post office, I use EMS and registered air parcel for delivery, "blow the whistle" to the authorities if I send X number of packages per day to addresses outside Thailand. I do not want to start a business in Thailand, but I would like to know what the rules are with regard to my situation. I welcome the imput of anyone who has had experience of this type of situation.

As I don't know what you export take a look at this information on procedure includes information on tariff, tax, law and regulation, export procedure, document, fee, process period, and contact office. The list goes by product names and runs alphabetically.

gjones Thank-you for that last reference! I was hoping to do some shipping of things back after I return to LOS. I have some ideas for kit furniture, plants, and specialty niche items to be made/grown there & sent back. Flow chart is great!
