Cs Loxinfo Adsl Promotion !

Featured Replies

Now CS Loxinfo gives us 590Baht/Month (256/128) ADSL in Thailand.

The cost is almost same as True ADSL.

Does anyone use the service already ?

I think it seems to be quite acceptable price & speed at this moment.

Thank you,

I will apply the ADSL service soon.

I guess CS Loxinfo's ADSL speed is much better than TOT ADSL.

A Thai friend of mine signed up for it and he says he's happy with it. He also said they lowered the fee in exchange for a higher user to line ratio. In effect, lower speed, I'd guess.

Thank you for your reply.

Now I just want to wait KSC's next promotion. Their current promotion will be finish on this month.

I guess they will show us more reasonable promotion.

Well......... ADSL service in Thailand is developing day by day. I believe any kind of

high speed ADSL service ( like 2Mbts ) is not acceptable for International

connection because of CAT limitation at this moment.

So..... I think 512/128 or even 256/128 speed & monthly fee is acceptable range

for us.

Thanks

it would be nice to open this sector to "foreign" competition . the final winners would be the thai people

But what is the difference between the DSL Basic (590 baht); Advanced (1,000 baht) and Pro (3,600 baht).

According to the website, all three offer unlimited 256/128 with oen email address and 100 mb email storage

Am I missing something here??

Lower price = more users to share the connection.

Yes I can understand this but what sort of connection speeds are users getting with CS Loxinfo? Are the connections more stable than Trues? I have heard some real horror stories about slow speeds and disconnections from True.

I have always used CS Loxinfo for my dial up connection and have been satisfied.

Now I am interested in getting ADSL but don't know whether to go for TOT (we've just had a new TOT line installed), True os CS Loxinfo.

Finally I got CSloxinfo ADSL 256/128kbps basic service ( 590Baht/month + VAT )

share ratio 1:50 at Sukhumvit RD area.

I can say their service is good enough include their support center ( 24hrs ) &

registration steps etc....

This is the result that I checked the connection speed.

International 182kbps ( 71% from 256kbps )

Domestic 215kpbs ( 84% from 256kbps )

I guess if I select "advance service" 256/128kbps ( 1,000Baht/month + VAT )

ratio 1:30, maybe I can get more speed , but not much differences I think.

( Probably +10% up )

Anyway I'm very happy to use CSloxinfo ADSL service now.

I think ADSL price in Thailand will be down from the next year.

I hope CSloxinfo will provide us more speed service with low price.

While lox info may be good, for 890 baht/month you can get the TRUE adsl at 1024/512.

Now TRUE do not give that kind of speed for international lines, and there have been many complaints but all the same it is probably going to be better than 256/128. Despite ppl's complaints it is the best value for money deal at the moment and you get a free modem (which I use and is reliable)

Once you are hooked up take a look at Thailand's own file share hub at:

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=21264

- we transfer files (movies, programs......) at good speeds because it is local traffic, thus we UL and DL at the full advertised rates.

I don't understand the CSLOXINFO package.

ADSL is an "always on" service but these people are imposing time limits

50 or 100 hours a month.

A very strange way to do business!!!! :o
