I have this new monitor, but previous favourite websites occupy only a quarter of the screen. The rest is blank/white. How can I solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers.

Thanks, I tried that but that just eliminates address bar etc. and still a slightly enlarged quarter view of web page....

Please let us know the details of your computer, monitor and OS!

Has you set the display settings to the correct one for that monitor?

Is the reduced size in browsing only? and if, what browser you use?

To get help we need much more infos.

Cheers.

Internet Explorer web browser on XP and not all web pages do this. I have set up the monitor with the CD driver O.K. I am puzzled. Plus I set the resolution to the correct setting.

As long as you refuse to submit the details I asked for, I'm not able to help you more.

Bye.

You have 19'' and you think you have a problem. :o

Do you mean that your Internet explorer windows covers all desktop but the website content doesn't?

Does it happen with ALL websites or only with some?

Or do you mean that your desktop occupies only a quarter of the screen?

Can you show us what it looks like? Click on PrintScreen button, open "Paint" from Accessories menu in program list. Right click and select paste - you should have a snapshot of your desktop. Save as .jpg and post in this forum.

Sometimes the wrong refresh rate can do that.

Start>Settings >Control Panel>Display>Settings Tab>Advanced>Monitor>

and try a different Screen refresh rate.
