I wonder can anyone please suggest a way or a free software application, I might down load to help me

clean up a mess I have with MS Outlook?

Background to problem is, had crash on Outlook in October, so for various reasons, I decided to stick with the

online webmail program, I have as part of a virtual online email server small biz package I use.

I intended to get back to Ms Outlook much quicker, however a few months passed, & I set up Outlook, closed all other PC applications, & ready for a long night, began to down load just over 4000 emails in work in box. I also went for option of leaving the emails on the webmail online account as a back up, so download to Outlook did not delete email, they remained in the Inbox , (just in case of crash with 4000 email coming down).

Anyway, took over 2 hours, most to inbox & 100s to junk mail. All looked good, had 5 outbound emails in outbox to a few of my hotmail & yahoo test emails addresses, & after the outbound test emails were sent, MS Outlook decided to down load the 4000 emails again from online webmail. This happened 4 times in total. Even turned off PC for night, on re boot in morning, it resumed. (now I got the emails all back up to external hard disc).

Problem is I have 16,000 + email in the Inbox of Outlook, which is each email in Inbox x 4 copies of the email.

How can I fix up the inbox, & delete 3 out of the 4 of each email downloaded. (I since took off option of leaving emails on web mail inbox, once I got back up to hard disc external).

Is there an easy way of doing this?

Or is there any free software I can down load that can do this for me, delete 3 out of the 4 downloads of each email. ?

any info greatly appreciated?

Just checking in, beside manual, scroll through 1000s emails & delete 3 extra dupe copies of each one, due to OP.

Has anyone any idea of a quick sales clean up or any shareware free I canm down load that will dedupe 3 extra exmails download.( as in got each email, downloaded 4 times... need to do fast but safe clean up. manual is last resort! :-( )

Info appreciated because I need help on this one? :-)
