April 13, 200818 yr Cheers Moss and Mrs Moss, thanks for the hospitallity, the cups of tea, the beers, the breakfast, the lovely penang chicken and the rather hot chilli. Cheers Scouser and Kayo, it really was a great laugh. Markr.... where were you? It was a great day out in the city of dreaming spires, although I really should have stopped drinking after the first 6 hours when my body was saying enough is enough, I was encouraged by my companions to push the boat out that little bit further and keep going for a couple more hours, so thanks for that.. I feel better now. There was one thing missing though from the day to make it complete... Next time we're going to Cambridge Edited April 13, 200818 yr by Robski
April 14, 200818 yr Indeed, a very passionate go we had of it! Must have drunk most of Oxford dry in the 10 hours or so we managed to stay awake. I do confess to not recalling much after those double whisky's I started buying in the Lamb & something. I was sorry that we couldn't meet our notable absentees, Tots, Chon, Markr. Another time perhaps? Moss & mrs Moss & Moss Jr (and Leo), my gratitude extends into the truckload. Your hospitality is commendable, and I pray you shall remember me for the Whisky I left behind, rather than... :D I have spent most of this day feeling rather under the weather, but the pleasure was worth the suffering. Rob, pleasure as always, my friend! Scouse, our conversations were an educational eye-opener. I thank you dearly. Thanks for all the laughs and yet another great night out!
April 17, 200818 yr Scouse, our conversations were an educational eye-opener. I thank you dearly. Err, what did we talk about? I can't remember. Was it politics, the erosion of civil liberty in the UK, or whose turn is it to buy the next round? Those are my favourites when I'm p*ssed. Scouse.
