A Field Guide To Flowering Plants In Thailand

Featured Replies

Asia books has this book, A field guide to flowering plants in Thailand, which looks very appealing to a dedicated gardener like myself. The catch is, its 1250 baht and I'd be loathe to spend that kind of money on a book that does not fulfill my needs. I want a book that gives me the Latin name, the common name, the Thai name (in Thai script as well as romanised if possible) and even better, growing characterisitics.

I have one for trees that i really like, it is called "Discovering Trees and Shrubs in SE Asia" by Adrian and Jimmie Storrs. An excellent book I found at Asia books a few years ago for the princely sum of 390 baht!

So, if anyone knows this book, I'd love to hear, or if you have an alternative that fits my bill, I'd love to hear about that too
