October now! Today the first reports?

Maybe there are no computer facilities in the Detention Center :o

I’m no expert.

It's easy, just purchase a few 100 USD traveller cheques and you will be fine. TC's are valid tender according to the Immigration Bureau.

Hopefully Thai immigration officers upcountry know what a travellers cheque is... :o

Last report:

they don't ask anything about money at Nong Khai border.

I live in Nong Khai and I just popped over the border on a visa run. It was a breeze, no questions asked.

A number of the farang here are nervous and discussing the issue but I've not heard of any reports of anyone actually having a problem here.

Hi!

I have a O visa and i was thinking going up to cross the border on the 4 or 5 October and just come back. On this weekend it is the big NAGA Fireball holiday so my questions is the border crossing open with stamp in my VISA? I mean immigration is closed in Thailand on Sundays and this is a big holiday.

thanks
