Internet Cafe

Featured Replies

I just wanna know i am going to run an internet cafe well would like to know what is the best Speed to Run internet and Games such as online games that people always play.... 256k or 512 ?? which 1 is better??? snd im sharring it with 20 unit pc, lan its a small internet cafe...

thank you....

Use 256 or lower cause the bandwith will eat you up at 512 allowing the kids to play a lot faster. You would have to charge at least 120 baht per hour to break even. You will probaly take notice of the fact that I convinced my wife to close her Cafe. :o

You don't say where in Thailand.

i.e. Bangkok, etc. you probably want to get a fairly fast connection. (i.e. The internet cafe deal from True seems to give about 1.5Mbps download speed for 2,400 B a month, and obviously doesn't have the single PC restriction on it.)

If you're outside Bangkok, ADSL might not even be available, and if it is, it's probably a bit more expensive... (unless you ignore the single PC restriction).

I stand corrected. We are up country and were using ipStar. Did not even consider BKK and the new servcies available there. Sorry.

Are you sure about the price? Last time I looked it was (for cafe):

512/256 unlimit inter 2400

1024/512 unlimit inter 3700

2048/512 unlimit inter 5300

1024/512 unlimit local 2200
