Hi All,

I want to organize a long weekend of golf and entertainment on Bali for a group of male colleagues some time in July or September 2008.

I would like to have some answers to the following questions:

1. which month is better in terms of climate and avoiding the real high season?

2. what would be the best place(town/village) to stay in terms of entertainment and easy access to golf courses (< 30 mins)

3. what would be a "guest" friendly 4/5*hotel in the location recommended

4. which golf courses would you recommend ( we want to play at least 3 rounds and a different course each time)

5. cost indication for hotel and green fees

6. any other useful info

Thanks a lot for your help!

I haven't been there in quite some time, but as I remember "guests" were pretty hard to find and if you wanted one, it could be a bit sketchy with some scrubby looking people trying to hook you up with a "guest" for a very short period of time.  Maybe things have changed since then, but it certainly was quite different there than it is here.

Have you tried googling "golf in bali", as a start? I just did, and it comes up with stacks of information and answers.

And go from there to accommodation, etc.

Ofcourse I have done that, but since none of us(my colleagues) has ever been there I would rather hear from first hand experience.

I know in the mean time that there are 3.5 golfcourses.

So anybody out there with first hand experience?
