Practical Situational Thai By Peter Faller

Featured Replies

Ok I bought the book about 5 months ago - mainly because ty was cheap and I like to read something while taking my caffeine in starbucks. It is well set out and has useful pahrses and vocab. But the big drawback is that the author doesn't give the Thai- only the romanised transliteration. In light of this I studied it a few times and then put it away.

However the author just came out with a CD - 5 hours worth- that covers the entire book. Very well done with Thai and English and at a very reasonable 800 baht (book included).

It is not for beginners but ideal for low intermediate learners.

I would like to see a volII and III along these same lines...
