Tim16
Hi, I have booked a visit to Malaysia from Bangkok in September. I have UK passport and I do not require visa to visit Malaysia. My Thai girlfriend, has a Thai passport, she thinks she is not allowed to visit Malaysia because of the problems in the south of Thailand. I have looked on some web sites and can not find anything preventing her from visiting Malaysia. ASEAN countries (which includes Thailand )do not require visas. Quote :- <LI>For a Social and Business visit not beyond one month, the citizens of ASEAN countries do not need a visa to enter Malaysia. Can anyone tell me whether she is allowed to visit Malaysia. funfun
"she thinks she is not allowed to visit Malaysia" get a thai person to tell her then she'll be fine!!!!! only kidding, no not needed, i recall them getting 30 days or somthing, maybe if your going overland as opposed to flying this might worry her but either way i think you should have no problems! chris
soihok
No problem. She will have to fill in an entry card, along with you, similar to the one us Farangs fill out when we enter Thailand. Valid for 30 days. Cheers Chris (also)
sjaak327
She will get 30 days visa exempt stamp, you will get 90 days. You both have to fill out a entry/exit card.
jingjoe
My Thai girlfriend, has a Thai passport, she thinks she is not allowed to visit Malaysia It might just be her way of saying, "take me to Hong Kong, or Singapore at least!".
