What species of softshell turtle would this be? Closest thing I can find to it is a Amyda cartilaginea.

Was found in my backyard (4am by our dog) and most likely came from across the road (Mabprachan Res.) where it was returned by hubby after having its photo taken. :o

A little difficult to tell without seeing the markings on the side of he head but I would say that's a Chinese Soft Shelled Turtle (Pelodiscus sinensis).

if this is the same ones you buy at a market to put in a pond i have several small ones I got from the thai market on pattaya tai. what do you feed them?
