Have You Managed To Stay Dry Over Songkran?

Featured Replies

I am proud to say that I have managed to stay dry so far over Songkran with the only water being poured over me coming from my shower. How about everyone else?

Completely dry except when shower and watching my hands. Went to dinner yesterday and the venue's totally deserted so no water splashing :o Totally dry...no accident either *knock on wood!* I'm very proud :D

well you both done very well indeed, why not treat treat yourselfes to a pizza delivery, now only another 6 days left!!

Fu_k no, I'm getting creamed. Tried to go to the gym at 06:30 thinking no-one would be out and about

but the little twits at the nearby karaoke were bailing water out or their supply drum as fast as their

drunken hands would allow. I'll sneak back tonight under cover of darkness and exact my revenge. :o

We don't all live in Pattaya and so for some of us it doesn't go on for that long.

Well, as I mentioned earlier, actually, I went out to dinner yesterday ... the action day ... but stayed dry throughout. And, I'm still proud of myself :o Super proud actually.

P.S. I don't call for pizza delivery. It's not tasty.

hel_l, we got wet, all over and again.

But that was the plan...it is Songkran, so, had 1 day of for my 5 years old to enjoy it.

Where we live is no many farangs, most of the thai like the idea very much to pour some extra water over me :o

The iced ones I enjoyed less, but I am alive, and my family had a Songran day, as a thai would have....so everybody satiesfied, and happy.

Living in lower Sukhumvit it sounds like a thrill ride from early afternoon until late in the evening. People constantly screaming for hours on end. I have not ventured out and I admit to a bit of cabin fever. I don't know if I'll last three more days. The maid is soaked every time she comes home from the store. She seems to be taking it pretty well considering.

haha, stay dry? for what????? :o

sawadee pee mai!
