How Much Do You Spend On Toilet Paper A Month?

Bum gun ... and first learned about it when I came to Asia then had it installed in my place in the USA. But that wasnt good enough... still was using too much paper to absorb the water... Ebay had and has wash cloths ... something like 100 for next to nothing... plane white that most likely were used at cheap hotels. But I bought 100 of them and used a freshly laundered one after each toilet visit. They never were stained as if you are good with the gun you are far cleaner than anyone that uses toilet paper alone. I had roles of TP for guests in the guest bathroom..... but as for spending money on TP... a pack every two months or so... Here in thailand they use it everywhere, at the dinner table in dispensers ... I have to get some napkins and eliminate that as well...

How come nobody mentions about the tissue called 'wet-one', or baby wiper. :o

I think it has so many uses, particular for people living in tropical- high humidity such as TL.

On my trip to TL and usually stay up to 4 months. I would pack 3-4 stacks of 'wet-on', each stack has around 3oo sheets (costs less than $3).

On my outings, I would pack several sheets in a small zip lock plastic bag, to share with friends, or fellow passengers and driver, to wipe their face, hands or whatever.

You feel instant clean and refreshing. :D

Are you insane Tinkerbell?

You must have money to burn.

120THB for 80 sheets.

I'd rather suffer a dirty arse. :o

Ok I'll mention it. You don't need to bring them from your country, there are plenty available here in convenient self-seal packages, sold at Watsons, Tokyu, even at Tops supermarket. I use them for hand cleaning all the time before eating in restaurants.

The 'how much do you spend on electricity' and similar threads have got me thinking that perhaps I'm being cheated out of money somehow.

I spend over 100THB a month on toilet paper. Is this reasonable? I would hate the think that I'm just flushing money down the toilet.

Go to the bank and get some Zimbabwe dollars....might be cheaper :o

No one ever better complain that a posting on ThaiVisa is frivolous after this. Too much drinking or drugs I suspect is at the bottom of this post. I think this topic should be immediately moved to the forum where people brag about how little they live on in Thailand. The only thing worse than reading this post is taking to time to respond to it. Mr. Garro, get a life.

Don't worry Kun Garro. I was told to get a life over complaining about an incident regarding a "unidentified" male in my girlfriend's bedroom. AND YOU get to get a life (presumably new life) over toilet paper. Some people have all the luck.

Actually a2396 you have only posted a portion of my message to you regarding your relationship(s) plight. I also told you to, "Man Up". Then you should get a life. Yep. That should jog your memory. :o

It's supposed to be a joke, as was your referencing me to get a life. I am sure Mr. Garro and I both have a life or we would be in the cemetary. It's not up to you to judge what sort of life that may be, since you know very little about the details of my situation. If you would like to trade places with me, since you think you could do a better job, I invite you to meet some of my aquaintences here.

Not really 'garro'. :D:D . Although I might gone insane easily from TL heat....hahaha.

As I see it fits, it's more practical and convenient. You don't waste water by using bum gun and wasting toilet tissue to dry :D , one sheet of wet-on or baby wiper doses (a good job) it all. :D

Besides, break down cost it comes around one cent a sheet. :D That's why I buy 3-4 packs on my trip to TL. I know this stuff is very expensive in BKK, once my Thai friend showed me (during our outing) the wet-on she bought for 75THB, it contained only 27 sheets ( which is around 2. 75 THB a sheet), worse, it's much poor quality than mine which is bigger, thicker and stronger. :o

'popshirt',

As you can see why I ratther to buy and bring them to TL from the reason I wrote to 'garro' above, it's expensive and poor quality.

On my returning home, I always left (quite large portion) to the friend who gone daily to Lumpinee Park to exercise, she appreciates it most. B)

The amount of toilet paper you use is directly proportional to the amount of food you eat. :o So, eat less and you will save money on toilet paper. :D

With one of these units installed you'll never again need another roll of toilet paper in your bathroom. And it might just put a big smile on the wife's face as well.

You eat it or what?? :D or are you just full of sh1t :o

The wife only uses a couple squares each movement. She has no hair and I have an afro growing out my rectum. It isn't the money, but the amount of time it takes to clean and in the end, is it really isn't that clean. A few months age I was walking the isles at the market and came across "Nair" hair removal. A treatment every 45 days and practically no clean up.

Could you tell me which market in Bangkok did you buy the Nair hair removal? I have been searching all around and not been able to find any products for men. Thanks in advance....

OK, since we are getting down and dirty on this topic, I'll share my 'secret'.......

Back in the dirty western world, I used way too much tissue and never got my hairy a** clean. Proof was that i thought that the 'tobacco stains' on my underware were from expelling gas, then comming to Thailand and using the water method [with no paper], The 'tobacco stains' magicly went away......thus proving that paper doesn't clean as well as water.

So the solution to remove those unsightly 'tobacco stains' is to wash your underwear with water instead of paper. Good thinking.
