Hi guys,

i visited thailand some 8 years ago and now want to come and retire there. i presume prices for housing changed quite a bit since then. i am wondering if anyone knows what an average cost of a rental house would be in areas like Petchaburi, Rayong or Trat. I would be looking for a 3- 4 bedroom descent house with a lush garden with a 10 -15 minute walk to the beach... any idea on what a 4 bedroom descent house could cost to rent in those areas would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking at area closer to Pattaya from NaJontiem out and what you are looking for can be purchased for 4-6 million Baht there 20k to 40k rent. Rent first for a year or two, you may decide against buying.
