ezzra
Hi all, Any information as to what is the best way to import fruit trees By air in to Thailand? Would they have to stay in quarantine for a period of time or would they just fumigate and let go? BTW, said trees have already been imported to Thailand before, Who would be the best person/agent to ask to help in the procedures? Thanks,
meandwi
Thailand's department of agriculture is your best bet. It depends on how many trees, the varieties, if they are in pots or bare root. For personal use or for resale. From what country is also a factor. You can find most trees in Thailand, if you look hard enough. Trying to grow many varieties of citrus is way to difficult due to the year around heat and rainfall. Other fruits from other countries need a cooling period to produce blooms. We recieve plants, bare root, wraped in plastic to help them keep their moisture. Shipped in boxes, from Thailand. But we have not shipped to Thailand.
