Thai Airway Lhr To Bkk

Featured Replies

I'm flying from Heathrow to Bangkok with Thaiairways next week

Where should I put electrical items? (Mobile, chargers, hairdryer, batteries etc.)

In hand luggage or hold baggage?

Regards

Gibbo

hold

mobile, the other electronic and the most fragile and expensive take with you - just in case they get lost, damaged or stolen.

you might need a mobile in the airports, especially if flight or luggage delayed

I always hand carry my phone, laptop(s), iPod, Bose Speakers for iPod (if I take them), camera etc

No need for a hairdryer for me though :o

Electrical items are the most likely to get knicked in hold luggage - something hard in the bag they might think its expensive

I do sometimes put all the cables/chargers that I do not need in the hold though

I only pack clothes and things I can affoid to lose in my hold luggage. Everything else going with me into the cabin. I make full use of my 7kg of carry-on.

Exactly - I even hate putting my expensive shirts in the hold in case I never see them again ;-)
