Money Order To The Us

Featured Replies

I need to send a money order or cashiers cheque for $75 to the US for some copies of papers.

Does anybody know where I can get a money order, or a cashiers cheque that would be acceptable?

I thought I could send it by Western Union but that is not acceptable - oh who is the company in the US, Western Union of course :o

No, Western Union will only accept a money order or cashiers cheque.

I think that you can buy a postal money order in US dollars for Thai baht at one of the larger post office branches.

Actually I think I did years ago at the Nana post office. Let me know how you make out.

I need some m/o's too. But our post office in Kanchanaburi said they don't have the forms.

Hmmm. In the USA, I usually use Walmart. They have international money orders up to $1,000 USD and they are cheaper to buy than the US Postal Service Money Orders. Take a walk into the local Carre 4 or Tesco Lotus. Being large international stores, they may carry a good international brand.

I went to my Siam Commercial Bank and had a cashiers check made out for US Dollars. I don't remember what it cost but it wasn't expensive.
