Good Hotel Near Immigration?

Featured Replies

Hi, can anyone recommend a good hotel near immigration, we're coming down from "up north" to sort out a visa. Phone numbers/internet links would be useful.

Thank You

PS Thanks to Lopburi3 and all other posters for visa advice.

dont really need to stay, they will post everthing back to home address, takes about 3 to 4 days. or less of course you want to make a visit to bkk, out of it.

I use Room@Silom Hotel, yes that its name!!!, used to be called Trinity Hotel.

Its off Silom Road (silom soi 3) near the Bangkok Bank main building/HQ.

I use it because its handy to get my bank statement letter from Bangkok Bank, renewal of my annual BUPA insurance, as Convent Road is nearby too, where BUPA main building is.

You could walk to Suan Plu from the hotel but taxi is less hassle.

Cost per night is 1400 baht which includes a super buffet all you can eat breakfast in the morning, sets you up for those long waits at immigration.

Tel 02 2315050 for hotel or book through Sawadee.com

Thanks phutoie 2, I'm going to ring around this afternoon.

You use BUPA insurance and not ThaiVisa's own?

5 minutes on the naughty step. :o:D
