Lorin
I did suspend my work permit few times in the past when I was out of Thailand for biz etc. The accountant that did that service for me told me that the maximum time I can suspend my work permit is 3 months. Is it true?

NO. You can only suspend your WP up to the date it is has been approved (not necessarily validated!). There is no money involved in suspending a WP, only when you re-activate (validate) it will you have to pay the regular fee. Have a close look at your WP (the approval-to date may only be stated in handwriting! not a stamp) and read the posts of the other thread in detail and you'll understand. opalhort
