simon43
The neighbour said that he heard 2 gunshots. The gun had 5 bullets left in it. Does that type of gun usually hold 7 bullets? Did he try to kill himself but missed with his first shot?!! This 'suicide' definitely stinks Simon Edited May 5, 2008 by simon43
jonniebkk
It all happened 28 April...why the delay in getting it on Thai Visa?
zorro1
It is Bizarre. Shooting supposed to happen during the robbery to avoid identification not afterwards. That wouldn't achieve anything they are already identified. RIP
R2Quad
From the write up it would seem that he reloaded the gun after the first shot, but looking at the photo it looks like there’s 2 empty chambers in the gun.... something just doesn’t add up. Sad state in Thailand if a retired Doctor feels he has to have a gun.... for protection?

cali4995
I read the piece a few days ago on another news website (below). These same plot lines make for rather disheartening reading after awhile. http://www.pattayacitynews.net/news_02_05_51_2.html It is a slightly different account, stating that the Thai man involved had already assaulted the Belgian once and his wife had removed 3 million baht from their joint account. Calling it a suicide at this point does seem a little premature. It seems to be a big coup for "some" of these Thai men to break up marriages and get their hands on easy money.
