Excel Templates

Featured Replies

hi,

getting desperate here...in Word this is fairly easy, go to options, path tab et voila!

In Excel this tab is not there and I cannot find anywhere anything that hints on changing the standard template path...... :o

tx!

Please clarify what you want to do, thanks.

PS Which version of Excel are you using?

PPS You may want to look at 'alternate startup folder' options.

it's Excel 2003

nope, it is not the alternative start-up.

I just want to move all templates to a server location to make them available for everybody.

^ in 2003 you'll need to look at 'workgroup templates' or you could use Group Policy if memory serves. Sorry to not be of more help but I don't have a 2003 set-up these days.

Regards

Just set workgroup templates path in Word - it will set it for all Office programs. You can also set it from a domain policy using the Office Resource kit.
