May 12, 200818 yr hi, getting desperate here...in Word this is fairly easy, go to options, path tab et voila! In Excel this tab is not there and I cannot find anywhere anything that hints on changing the standard template path...... tx! raro
May 12, 200818 yr Please clarify what you want to do, thanks. Regards PS Which version of Excel are you using? PPS You may want to look at 'alternate startup folder' options. Edited May 12, 200818 yr by A_Traveller
May 12, 200818 yr Author it's Excel 2003 nope, it is not the alternative start-up. I just want to move all templates to a server location to make them available for everybody.
May 12, 200818 yr ^ in 2003 you'll need to look at 'workgroup templates' or you could use Group Policy if memory serves. Sorry to not be of more help but I don't have a 2003 set-up these days. Regards Edited May 12, 200818 yr by A_Traveller

May 13, 200818 yr Just set workgroup templates path in Word - it will set it for all Office programs. You can also set it from a domain policy using the Office Resource kit.
