Mold In Fish Tank

Featured Replies

Just had myself a salt water fish tank installed by a local shop in Pattaya. Costed me a fortune. Still no fish in there as I want to give it some time for my water to settle. Has been almost a week now and now some sort of Mold is growing around my rocks? What is that and how t get rid of it. It is a fury gray/white kind of mold. Didnt know mold could grow under water?

Anyway seems like a good idea not to have spend a few more thousand to put fish in it yet.

any advise please

Mold will form in any still water. Once you turn on the filter, the mold should disappear.

Don't introduce the fish until it has.
