Passport Photographs

Featured Replies

My wife has just renewed her Thai passport. The photo of her is in black and white. I've got to renew my UK passport soon and it states photograph has to be in colour. If I take her to the UK will they accept her passport with a black & white photo. I thought all passport photo's would universally be of the same spec.

No problem at all.

none whatsoever. It is an official document issued by the thai government and meets all the requirements for 'e-passports' for internation travel. No problem for international travel on it.

Another difference is that Thai ID requires or prefers a blue background to the photo whilst other countries ask for a white background.
