i just bought myself an external HDD 80GB, i just got fed up gettin viruses and losing my data, theres no instructions with it, i go to my computer, I right click local disk (G:) go to "properties", "tools", then "back up" now, then back up restore wizard pops up then i click "next" then i choose back up and restore system then i select all information on this computer then "next" then im stumped it only gives me floppy disk 2 back up ??

If your external drive is not detected you're going to have to format it. I'm not sure about that wizard under Windows, but I'm assuming that not being formated is the problem.

ahh thx 4 that ive cracked it thx 2 u that format worked and i just got lucky and click click click ive backed up more luck than judgment by me ive normaly smashed my computer up by now in frustration
